Payday Loan Debit Order

Questions & AnswersPayday Loan Debit Order
Anonymous asked 2 years ago

Good day,

I had taken a payday loan- and couldn’t pay it back-I did the worst thing I reversed the debit order and advised them of that though and explained my financial situation my intentions of paying it back.

I do intend to pay it back-that much I asked for a detailed statement – and I see lots of charges.

They are charging me for “ re debit charge” after I told them i can’t pay..and they charging me this charge for same day debit for 2 different amounts

For instance 22 January 2016 – re debit charge R337.14 and same day same description R166.06

Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I’m not familiar with your financial situation but when you start taking out pay day loans and you can’t pay them back then you know you need to look for help. I suggest that you make contact with DebtSafe ASAP in order to assess your debt situation. Take advantage of our process before it is too late and summonses start to fly around. Simply fill out our contact form on this page and we’ll be in touch with you soon.

Unfortunately it is very expensive for the service provider when a consumer reverses a transaction. It is within their rights to transfer that cost to you.

Hope to hear from you soon.
