Hi,

If I have 5 debts under debt review and four paid off leaving one home loan under review. Could I remove the home loan from the debt review?

Good day,

Your debt review will stay listed on your credit profile until you receive a Clearance Certificate.

You will receive your Clearance Certificate when either:
• All your accounts listed under Debt Review have been settled.
• You are able to carry on with the original agreements you have with your creditors.
• All your accounts are paid up, except for your home loan and your home loan is paid up to date as per your Debt Review agreement.

So if you have reached one of the above you can request your Clearance Certificate which will be sent to your creditors and the credit bureaus. They will then be required to remove your adverse listings from your credit profile.

Kind regards.
