Is it worth the sacrifices?

Trying to scrape together every cent you can to settle debt isn’t easy.  It is very hard and most people give up before they reach the goal of being debt free.  They figure the sacrifice is too big for the reward.  They want to splurge, to live a little, to enjoy the here and now more.  The momentary enjoyment comes at a cost.  Your failure to pay off that debt just means you will pay  more.  The creditors rub their hands at the thought.  I like to encourage people to look at this as a battle they can win sooner than later.  Being debt free is fantastic.  There is nothing like having your money grow instead of being eaten away and left with nothing.  Remind yourself that today’s sacrifices will change your life for the better forever and determine to get debt free.
