September 2011: According to the NCR (National Credit Regulator) over 74 000 judgments are being passed on civil debt and 15 000 administration orders issued every month in South Africa. It is with this staggering fact in mind that DebtSafe, one of the leading debt counseling institutions in the country have made the decision to send a group of selected DebtSafe staff members on an insightful and very informative debt counselling course.
Over a period of five days, the course will equip the 17 selected staff members with all the necessary skills to communicate and empower people who are indebted and in need the necessary skills, guidance and responsibility to regain control of their finances and the chance to set new goals for their future.
